Smithtown native, Hauppauge HS 2025 alumnus. Twice named All-County, 97 GPA, hit the most home runs in Suffolk County the past two years with fifteen, led the Hauppauge Eagles to the Long Island championship victory his junior year. Ranked fifth overall baseball player in New York State. Was highly recognized last fall at the WWBA World Championship in Jupiter, Florida when he went 3-for-3 and 1-for-3 in two games and slammed a home run in both games.
Cody Miller: Shortstop, Rocky Point, East Tennessee State University
Drafted by the Atlanta Braves 96th overall in the third round. Bats: R Throws: R, 5’11” 189. Age: 21.
Miller was an on base machine for the ETSU Buccaneers notching 62 then 67 hits in 2023 and 2024 while batting .316 and .340 respectively in his first two collegiate campaigns with an on base percentage of .400 and .442. Hit four total home runs during his freshman and sophomore years notching 19 and 33 RBIs his first two NCAA seasons. Went into beast mode during his junior campaign with 20 homers, 64 RBIs, 79 hits, 15 doubles in 59 games and slashed .333/.430/.650. Miller’s senior year for Rocky Point batted .422 with a .716 slugging percentage with five long balls and 32 RBIs.
Joe Ariola: Pitcher, Chaminade HS, Wake Forest
Selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 7th round, 213th overall. B/T L/L 6’2” 190. Age 21.
Three seasons at Wake Forest. This spring the southpaw pitched in 21 games with a 5.11 ERA, 24.2 innings pitched, and 40 strikeouts. The Chaminade alumnus’ fastball is 92-94 mph and elevates to 96, his curve that reaches the upper 70s with high spin rates can be frightening. A breaking ball in the mid-80s. Ariola’s arsenal also features a cutter, a slider, and a changeup.
Danny Macchiarola: Pitcher, Garden City, Xavier HS, Holy Cross University
Selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 8th round, 242nd overall. B/T L/R 6’2” 180. Age 20.
Went 9-5 with a 3.27 ERA with 93.2 innings pitched whiffing 92 batters in sixteen starts in 2025 at Holy Cross. Throws a fastball 89-92 mph that maxes out at 94, a slider 79-82, an 82-84 changeup that dials up to 86. The Holy Cross alum limits walks and has solid control, his sweeping slider is his best pitch that has plentiful spin and a horizontal break.
Dylan Palmer: Infielder, Hofstra University
Pittsburgh Pirates 11th round, 323rd overall. B/T L/R 5’9” 170. Age 21.
Palmer is not a Long Islander, he’s from West Windsor, NJ and attended Notre Dame High School in Jersey but the versatile infielder attended Hofstra. In his first two NCAA seasons with the Hofstra Pride, Palmer had a slash line of .369/.441/.464 his freshman year and slashed .386/.453/.440 during his sophomore campaign. 159 hits in 103 games and 54 RBIs his first two years with the Pride. In 2025 the West Windsor native played and started all 53 games, batted .400, slugged .536, had an OBP of .449, with 88 hits, thirteen doubles, seven triples, a homer and 32 RBIs and was selected First Team All-CAA. Palmer has exhibited his versatility on the diamond in NCAA baseball playing over ten games at four different positions: second base, shortstop, third base, and outfield while primarily playing on the left side of the infield in 2025 at second and third.
Randy Ramnarance: Pitcher, Brentwood, University of New Haven
Kansas City Royals 16th round, 488th overall. B/T L/R 6’1” 195. Age 20.
Three seasons of collegiate ball at New Haven. This season struck out 45 batters in 32.1 innings of work while yielding only nine runs, did not allow a homer and walked only eighteen. This summer for Bristol for the New England Collegiate Baseball League threw for a 2.25 ERA. The Brentwood native can pitch as a starter or reliever and at Brentwood High made history throwing Brentwood’s first no-hitter in 30 years while striking out eighteen.
Nick Frusco: Pitcher, Miller Place
Pittsburgh Pirates 20th round, 593rd overall. B/T/ L/L 6’4” 208. Age 18. Committed to Clemson.
Miller Place class of 2025. The southpaw has a fastball in the upper 80s and was witnessed elevating to 91-92 mph during the Combine and Draft League. 80-82 mph slider. Ranked eighth prospect in New York State. 4-3 with a 0.54 ERA, 81 strikeouts, 39.1 innings pitched, and an .089 batting average against in his senior season at Miller Place.
